Epic Event Hire is an award winning Wedding and Venue Decoration business, and one of the Best Rated Entertainment Companies in East Anglia.

We cover all aspects of Venue Decoration from Creative Lighting, Hanging Lanterns, Draping, and Light Up Letters to Chair Covers, Table Centrepieces, Backdrops and other Event Hire items.

We also provide entertainment for special events all over Norfolk and the surrounding counties with our Disco and DJ service, Dance Floor Hire and Luxury PhotoBooth too.

Our Story

Hello! We are Kerry and Dan and we met in Norfolk 10 years ago having both moved here from opposite ends of the country.

Between us we bring a whole heap of knowledge and experience to Epic Event Hire.

Having started out together in the weddings and events industry, we have enjoyed growing a reputable business and customer service ethic respected by many fellow businesses across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Meet The Team

Kerry Ellis

Director

I didn't join Epic, I created Epic; along with Mr Epic of course! In total this was about 10 years ago, but we have rebranded through growth during that time and now run two business; Epic Event Hire and Epic Gifts and Crafts.

I bring motivation and drive to the team as well as sharing my all round experience that I have developed over the years. It is my role to guide and nurture the team to the highest standards adding a sprinkle of fun factor too!

You can also find me at the end of emails, messages, phone calls and generally the face of Epic.

What I enjoy the most is the reward and feedback we receive from our happy customers. We work very hard to achieve the best so getting that positive contact at the end of a busy day helps push me on.

Alex Neath

Operations Supervisor

Hi, I'm Alex, I started working here in May 2021 and am Kerry's younger brother. I have 11 years of experience in graphic design, which comes in very handy for prop design. A large part of my time is spent out traveling to, setting up, and collecting from venues as well, and I love the variety of my role.

Hobbies: I really enjoy sports, mainly football and cricket.

Fun fact: I've broken 9 bones, but I'm still standing!

Cole Snowling

Operations Supervisor

Hi, I’m Cole, I started here august 2022. I’ve known Kerry and Dan for many years as I was their next door neighbour, and I used to help sometimes with set ups back in 2018. I then became a mechanic, however I’ve made my way back! I love meeting new people and going to all the lovely venues, no day is ever the same, it’s great!

Hobbies: I like going to the gym, and cleaning cars!

Fun fact: I was named after a character from Days of Thunder

Imogen Davison

Freelance Designer

Hello, I'm Imogen.

Alongside my own wedding cake business, I have been freelancing at Epic since the rollercoaster year of 2020.

I poke my creative nose into many projects at Epic HQ but I have tended to gravitate more into the area of faux florals. My favourite part of the job is when a client comes to Epic with a bespoke floral request and I get to work out how I'm going to make it.

Hobbies: I love watching the birds in my garden and painting them onto cakes.

Fun Fact: I won the Gingerbread House Competition on Kirstie's Handmade Christmas on Channel 4 in 2020

Lauren Oliver

Events Assistant

Hey I'm Lauren alongside working in leisure & hospitality I have been with Epic from the beginning! I enjoy seeing the transformations of wedding set ups, and you will often see me hosting the Photo Booth at events.

Hobbies - Spending time with my growing family. I also play netball and love watching a good crime drama!

Fun Fact - I was once on You've Been Framed as a young child!

Tracey Ward

Workplace Housekeeper

Hi I’m Tracey , I started working at Epic in July 2022, I’ve known Kerry and Dan for many years now and occasionally helped them out with ironing and event set ups when they first started in the event industry. My main role at Epic is ensuring everything is clean, ironed and ready for all events, but I also get involved in the setting up within the venues. Oh and recently took over the responsibility of making sure everyone is topped up with caffeine ( mainly for Dan!).

Hobbies: Outside of my working role I enjoy spending time with family and friends, eating out and a good movie

Fun fact: In 2017 I completed the Gung-Ho! Seriously Fun Inflatable 5k Race at Earlham Park

Becky Wreford

Events Assistant

Hi I’m Becky! I have been at Epic since 2023. My role at Epic is very varied, from joining the team on set ups, managing the social media (so make sure you give us a like!) and assisting Kerry with the admin. I've worked in Hospitality and Events Management for over 10 years now, so use my experience to help you plan your perfect event!

Hobbies: Outside of work, my Cockapoo Bonnie runs the show, she is a diva but my fur baby.

Fun fact: My Dad used to work on the former RAF Coltishal base where Epic HQ is based over 20 years ago.. Small world!

Luka Juozaityte

Events Assistant

Hi I'm Luka!

I joined Epic in May 2024. I have a diploma in Wedding Planning which I think will add an extra touch to this Epic team. I love travelling and discovering all the beautiful venues we visit weekly. I'm excited to see where my journey with Epic takes me!

Hobbies: I love doing photography in my free time, creative projects and also dancing!

Fun fact: I can speak 3 languages and I am also learning 2 more.

Amy Herron

Events Assistant

Hi, I'm Amy!

I joined Epic in May 2024. I've worked in Hospitality for the past 5 years and was excited and ready to try something new! I am always willing to get my hands dirty and apply my creative flare to projects and event set ups. I love visiting all the gorgeous venues and transforming them into something magical.

Hobbies: I love sewing and creating little projects on my Circut machine.

Fun fact: I can make a mean passionfruit martini, cheers!

Hey, I’m Ben, I recently joined the team in October 2024! I'm currently still studying at college.
